VT591 / Water leak sensor
When water is in contact with detection cable sensor indicates the emergence of moisture. "WDC / Water detection rope" and "WLC / Water leakage cable" are ordered separately! The whole area can be effectively monitored by placing the cable near or along possible flood sources.
If sensor is constantly responding to high water levels, replace it with a level sensor.
The sensor reacts to just a few drops of liquid and can also detect the emergence of moisture. The cable is flexible and easy to install. Max. distance from the unit is 100 meters. VT591 is an analog plug-and-play sensor, it is integration friendly and quick to reset. After the flooding, the leak detection cable can be dried and reused. Sensor does not produce false alarm signals when bent or twisted. For correct operation WDC sensing cable sensor requires VT591 / Water leak sensor. Detectable liquids: clean, polluted & distilled water; acids; alkalis; alcohols and other electrically conductive liquid
WDC and WLC difference - WLC can work in high humidity, pollution and hazardous waste. WDC can work until the dew point and does not welcome pollution!
